How to flash dead nokia mobile using Phoenix service software and USB cable
Things you should know before flashing
- Pleas check that mobile battery should be fully charged.
- Please close all other running applications on PC
- Warranty voids if mobile is flashed
- This procedure applies to all BB5 Nokia phones
- First you should know the RM Code of your Nokia Device,If you don’t know your RM-Code,Please visit RM-Codes to find out your device code number
Things you should need before flashing
- In order to flash you should install Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver,which installs automatically with Nokia PC Suite itself.
- A USB cable of your device like microUSB, POP portUSB cable, miniUSB etc is needed for flash.
- Installed Nokia Phoenix Service Software
- Download suitable product firmwares for your Nokia mobile
How to flash dead nokia mobile using phoenix and USB cable
- First please copy the downloaded product firmwares into the “Products” folder of Phoenix program files directory (“C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-XXX”).
- Open Phoenix Service Software as Windows administrator
- Select “NO CONNECTION” as shown below.

- Now please “Open Product” option in “File” menu.

- Please select your mobile from the pop up window which will appear as below

- Now Please Select “Firmware Update” option in “Flashing” menu at the top .

- Now press “…” button on the right corner as shown in the image and select the language pack and product code of that firmware which you may want to install .


- Please check this tick box “Dead phone USB flashing”.

- Now select “Update Software” to start your mobile firmware update process.
- If this method is not working then please select “Refurbish”

- Now Please follow instructions as shown below.(Please disconnect your usb cable,press and hold Power Button,again connect USB Cable now and then click ok

- Now Phoenix will start your mobile firmware update process .
- When the process is finished . Again a popup will appear saying status as ” Firmware updating succeeded”
